What does TCJLAC Sponsorship make happen?
Sponsorship helps the materialization of the Tillamook County Junior Livestock Auction Committee’s purpose to showcase local 4-H and FFA livestock exhibitors and their market projects.
WE are proud to partner with Tillamook County 4-H and FFA programs to support these youth members. Not only do they learn valuable character and skill development, the meaning of responsibility and hard work – they learn the basics of running a small business.
Local businesses, organizations and individuals are invited to participate in this powerful learning experience and make a purchase to help our youth meet their goals, reward them for all of their hard work and their commitment to becoming the leaders of the future.
At the Tillamook County Fair, animals are judged by professional livestock evaluators to determine the sale order and give feedback to the exhibitors. When an animal at the Junior Livestock Auction, is purchased, it supports more than a prize-winning animal raised by 4-H & FFA members – It establishes a partnership of helping young people in our community develop essential skills and attitudes.
